At the same time, the color of the fog lamp is usually white or light yellow, which has better penetration in rainy and foggy weather and can help drivers better judge the road conditions.
The use scenarios of fog lamps are mainly concentrated in bad weather conditions with low visibility. When encountering heavy fog, heavy rain or driving at night, turning on the fog lamp can open up a relatively clear visual channel for the driver and reduce traffic accidents caused by unclear vision. Fog lamps can also send clear warning signals to other vehicles, reminding them to pay attention to the vehicles ahead and keep a safe distance.
Fog lamps are not all-weather lighting equipment. In the case of good visibility, the abuse of fog lamps may cause dazzle to other drivers and affect driving safety. Therefore, drivers should strictly abide by traffic rules and turn on fog lamps at the right time.
As an important safety device for automobiles, the maintenance and troubleshooting of fog lamps should not be ignored. Drivers should regularly check whether the bulbs, reflectors, light distribution mirrors and other parts of the fog lights are intact to ensure that the fog lights can work properly. If the bulbs are found to be black, cracked or the filaments are broken, they should be replaced with new bulbs in time.
The circuit system of the fog lights should also be checked regularly. Drivers can determine whether there is a fault in the circuit by checking the resistance value of the fuse and the circuit harness connector.
